As I crouched behind the curtains, i could see the car idling in front of the house. That man, those beady eyes, that night replayed over and over in my head. he was the murderer, that i knew. but how could i prove it? how could i make it known that he was the one? “someday i will get you,” i thought to myself. you bastard.

She had an acount, and acount that made her a little younger every time she logged on, she couldn’t depend on much, only the fear that stood in here heart, she was sad,

I can’t believe I missed the party! I’ve waited forever to go to this party and I had to get sick. I always miss everything. I missed a whole year of school because I was recovering from a surgery.

Missed – what a word. Missed connections, missed flights, missed deadlines. But what is it about time in our culture that impresses such a momentous stature upon an ugly word like “missed?” Maybe if we stopped being so busy and started thinking, we’d be closer to this answer.

There were three deer crossing the road. One of them had a tie on. It was the boss for sure. I slowed down to take a picture but they ran. Damn. Deer with a tie. The End.

repeat what? I would like to repeat a lot of things in life. If it were possible to do so I wonder if I would actually be able change the course of my life? And if I could would it be better than it is now?

I’m really not too familiar with this word. I think it’s like a type of fabric, but it’s rubberyish. Man I can’t think of anything else. If i was a super hero I’m pretty sure my costume would be made out of elastic. It’d probably chafe a little but thought

Level. That word reminds me of Super Mario Brothers. I’m sure a carpenter would think of the device known as a level, used for making sure things are well… level. But to me, and probably most of my generation, it’s about being kids and trying to rescue the Princess Toadstool in the final level.

A group of friends who grow apart as time passes – a vestigial name for a bygone connection.

I went to where there was little evidence of anything, and beneath there, beneath…I couldn’t say. It was musty, and there were signs that life had left this place behind. Overhead, the noise persisted, and the rain began to come down in torrents, dripping from above at first, and then, finally, trickling into my den, my feet and hands and face awash with water and mud and the leftovers from what God no longer wanted for himself.

I wish I could predict the outcome of my decisions. It woud make my future much easier to decide. This, that, both, neither. So many options, Majors, careers, relationships, friendships, and more. But the only way to find out is to dive in and hope for the best.

I wonder what would happen if I was perfect. Would I be happy? Wondering is an important thing in life. It makes sure that you are on the right track – always questioning yourself, always WONDERING. Wonder is the thing that amazes you when you are in an exotic location. Wonderment is one of the most important things in life.

with a smile, my mother was glad. she knew that this was to be her son’s name. Although it was later changed to Selby, by my dad, everyone still calls him Smile. and he likes it. believe me. although he does not admit it.

Her smile is the most beautiful thing in the world. It at once amazes, glorifies, and enlightens the soul. It’s the most important thing in the world to me, and the chance to see it once more would be the only thing I need in life. Forget everything else. Drop it. Money, fame, fortune. Just her smile. One last time. That’s all I want to see.

When the world looked away, all I saw was him. He was standing before and in the middle and in the height of it all, and he looked angelic, cherubic, and I thought that I was ten again and witnessing something new. A breath came in and fled my mouth, a deep exhalation where everything was expunged and reborn. And then he grabbed me, tugging out of me something that I had forgotten had even chosen to exist.

A corner is the place where two lines meet at an angle, and a concave corner of intersecting walls is generally thought to be the least beneficial position to be in a life-or-death situation. From this notion was born the verb to corner, which is used to mean “to back (another person or animal) into a corner” and usually also carries a connotation of foul play.
A metes and bounds deed begins at a corner marked by a monument and follows a line a given direction and distance to another corner marked by another monument following around and defining the boundary lines of a property. Typically, unless otherwise described or noted, a property corner is placed on the centerline dividing two parcels of land but on the extreme limit of any structure or building located on the boundaries of the property.
In square dance, corner refers to the person you are adjacent to who is not your partner. In standard positioning (boy on the left, girl on the right), this would be for men (or gents) the person standing to one’s left, and for ladies the person standing to one’s right. In square dance one will often change partners and corners during the course of a dance, in which case one can distinguish between the “original corner” and a “situational corner”.
In sports such as football (soccer) or boxing, corner may refer to a person or position (cornerman).
In ice hockey, the rink does not have any corners. It is an oval and therefore cannot have a corner.
A corner is also used in geography, such as the Four Corners Monument in the United States, marking the corner of state boundary lines.
In most fighting video games, the edge of the stage is referred to as the “corner,” because much like a corner in a wall, it is typically a disadvantageous position, which allows for more combination attacks and makes escaping offensive pressure significantly more

at the street corner, the musician played his heart out. it wasn’t that he hadn’t eaten in a day and a half, or that he cared that people listened. he played for himself. for his craft. his passion. when he walked away from a scholarship to harvard all those years ago, he knew…

plaid is never one color or in one place, it is insane. It is ever changing. it is a mixture of colors and shapes. I enjoy looking at colors and shapes, and I look at plaid and I am reminded of the blessing of eyesight, so that I can enjoy plaid.

i haven’t traveled in a while. i need to. a life’s passion deserves the undivided attention of its follower on a regular basis. but, life beckons, and sadly has not allowed the time or the funds to support a gallivanting adventure through europe or argentina or the like.

Her kiss tasted faintly of mint. It was one of those experiences that built itself into memory as a permanent foundation; something to be remembered in the warmth of death as what life was defined as.

A canteen is a container used to hold water. It is used by those in the armed forces or out camping. A canteen can come in great handy when someone is in dire need of water. Canteens are very durable and can withstand many weather conditions.

She stared intently at the good, the wax paper rippling in the unusually heavy August winds. She looked at me from the corner of her eyes and bit into it defiently, ripping it away from her mouth like a lion with carcass.

I am domestic, like a house cat. I find myself wondering back to the same place to do the same things over and over again. I cook, clean, do laundry. Fall asleep on the couch about 3 times a week. Thats what I consider domestic.
