I am tarnished…
No longer new
No longer valuable to those around me
I have worn our my welcome
Worn out the love that was offered to me
Tarnished beyond compare
Nothing left now… Not even I tear

Lucky to be in love
Lucky to be alone
Lucky I have had the time
To discover my own
Too bad I’m not so lucky
As to have happiness constantly
Luck isn’t everything I suppose
Maybe it’s not everything.

It is obvious that the word obvious is overused and quite abused. I don’t like it at all, really. It tends to be too plain in sight. There are better words to use like apparent. I enjoy apparent. Much more than obvious. It’s not a pretty word, either. Much too round.

i stand at the altar. waiting for you to arrive.
we promised eachother a forever and always,
well here i am, standing here, waiting for you to come and marry me
waiting for you to pronounce your love to me in front of the world.
i wish you could come back to me, maybe someday i will get to see you again,
waiting for me at the altar

I felt immense pain, and I screamed in horror. I was going to die. The knife jabbed into my side was throbbing. The blood was pooling on the floor and I was staring at my mother with eyes wide as a golfball.

teeth are jagged and crooked and snarled on monsters. they are sharp, perfect for ripping at children’s flesh. they are discolored because monters do not use toothpaste, and many could not even hold a toothbrush.

I don’t quite get them, you know? Do they fall in love? and if so, how could they have so many babies. Perhaps monogamy isn’t the way to go. They don’t even talk, dont others think it’s rude that they just start having sex with them? How is it consetual?

Disappointment is inevitable. Failure is inevitable. Wanting to give up and losing all my faith; I know this will happen countless times. Your smile will get me through.

I see my past and present and future. I see of things that make me happy, sad, and angry. I see a long journey ahead and yet also one behind. I see things left undone and unsaid. I something that seems to never end. Ever.

I had the right materials to make the poster, but that didn’t mean I wanted to. I had tried making up excuses for why I couldn’t make one…. but my teacher always had a solution.

average, what is this word, it is horrible i think. no one is average and no one should be average. In fact, what is told to be average is wrong,a dn weird is the normal. Average does not mean size or personality or income. you are not just a statistic. Average is being yourself.

My lousy sister won’t do anything for me! If I ask her to just make me a sandwich, poor me a drink, or even empty the dishwasher ’cause I’m busy, she ignores me!

The small screen blinked green, an even smaller dot moving slowly around the edge. The green lines spanning out wavered for a second on the radar, the monitors all froze for a moment, and then flickered back to life. Only this time, the dots were multiplied one-hundred fold. The security officer gave a sharp cry of surprise and fumbled for his radio. Pressing the button, he held the object up to his mouth, “We have a code-” It was at that moment that he made a strange gurgling noise, like something wet was building up quickly in the back of his throat. For a moment, the receiver of the message was silent, until the officer, his eyes huge and pupils dilated, staring at the screen in shock, made another choking sound and slumped forward. The radio wobbled from his fingertips and thumped loudly and satisfyingly to the floor. The receiving officer began yelling down the line. It was then that the woman stood from her crouched position in the shadowed doorway to survey her work and crush the radio beneath a flat-footed, soft leather boot.
“Sleep well,” she hissed in the dead officer’s air, yanking a small knife from the back of his throat.

She waited. She waited weeks and weeks and weeks. What was she waiting for? No one in the village could figure it out. But every morning there she was, looking out the window. Waiting. Will she ever get what she’s waiting for? Who knows. But she is stupid enough to keep waiting. Until weeks because month. Until months become years

I stood there waiting for my score. I had just put on the best routine of my life, but who knows it if it was enough. My entire life came down to this moment. The panel of judges in front of me determined my future, and as if that wasn’t enough, the looks on their faces were emotionless. Then, there is was. 9. 10. 9. 9. 10. I’m going to the finals.

Look! Look up there! The windows! They have these glass squares in them. What on earth do you call those things again? I can’t seem to remember. Will SOMEONE please jog my memory? Oh gosh what are they called…oh yes now I remember, they are glass panels.

She walked against the wall slowly and hesitantly. She sensed it was there, although she could not see it. One side of her face, her long, white, wispy whiskers, brushed against the wall gently. Although she was blind, this is how she made her way.

She slowly walked toward the wall. She was blind but she knew there was a wall there. How? By the stringy little whiskers flowing off her face. They brushed against the wall on the left side of her face.

Sitting on a seat takes a load of your feet. Pregnant women make good use of seats some might give up their seats for them. seats give you a chance to stop thinking abotu walking and start thinking and let you relax and

seat. I spend most of my day sitting. Sitting in my bed, sitting at my desk, sitting in a classroom, sitting as a drive my car.

She took the seat closest to the door, for easy access. She didn’t want to be here, and she was going to be the first to leave. But then, she noticed the boy next to her; the one with the blue eyes and the bright red jacket. Maybe, just maybe, this really WAS the best seat.

Because of my fashion choice, my foot high mohawk, I cannot wear hats. Which is perfectly okay with me because according to everyone I know, chicks with mohawks are badass. Not to mention I’m sure it’s the reason I got my job at the comic book store. Awesome. Hats are bullshit, I don’t need you hats. Eff you. You suck hats.

The trees which sprouted from the earth were almost impossibly ancient, their tall forms masking the gardens they encircled. They sported long branches, seeping outward like dangling, useless arms. Their leaves fell in long wisps, overshadowing the trunk. They were ancient, boring things.
