I studied the word chrysalis with fierce intent. Unknowingly part of my own narrative, I began to pick apart the word, letter by letter, in a manner that would impress Derrida himself.

Frequently, he glanced over, awaiting any sign– no matter how small– of attraction. Failing to interpret even the most obvious, he would frequently make his way to the back.

dangerous. uninviting. unfaithful. decieving, the dangerous climb to the top of the hill challanged my tolerance. it was treacherous. misleading.

I want a holiday to somewhere where I know how to talk to you. I want to lie on sandy beaches under the sun with you, away from all this grey. I hate this city. But I’m scared that if I leave I won’t be coming back.

My life is stable when you smile, when you hold my hand or when you play with my hair.

Pardon, what you do when you pass gas, or have to excused from the table or what a president can do for a criminal to pardon them of their crimes.

string is can be long or short, in fact it is often used in answer to a question like how long will it take? answer how long is a piece of string. It can be used as a leash, or even just to tie things together but if you like being tied to a dog then you are sick!

The cone sits at the bottom step. It’s hanging in the stoopway to the outside world like some kind of lost child. I don’t know who put it there. I will take it upstairs with me though. Before anyone can see, quickly with its strange plastic odor bouncing into my nostrils as I carry my treasure. I’ll leave it there in my room, next to the signs and other trash.

I like to drink coca cola when I’m thirsty, when my throat is dry. I hate rain. I like summer and winter.

There is a hill named union in my home town. I like to call it onion hill. This has cause for some confusion and has indeed mislead several who were unfortunate enough to as for dirrections from me in that area. I am sorry.

The raw wind of the scottish highlands caught her hair as she turned around to me. She smiled, her eyes were glistering and she seemed rather happy.

i was sitting on a park bench one day watching the world go round, the skies were blue and the few clouds there were were lazing around as if they were hanging out to dry, a bird flies down and lands on a fence post opposite and for a glorious moment that lasted centuries in my mind we stared at each other. each wondering what the other had seen.

I spend a great deal of time sitting in a red chair in front of the television. The stress of the day creates inertia when I come home, and I can’t help myself.

She wasn’t usually this cranky; something was wrong. But for her live-in-the-moment lifestyle, I decided to go with it. For once I woudl be the control freak that couldn’t go out with anybody. I decided I would finally let go. So I ddid what she least expected. I kissed her. And boy, did I love it.

every spot has an origin.
» Posted By alex On 01.15.2010 @ 12:43 pm
the spot could be the origin of the world, one spot can be seen as huge by an atom sized creature or it can be seen as insignificant by mankind. it doesnt matter how you perceive it, the spot will always keep its size.

spots on the glasses you wear
spots on the glasses you drink your water from
they are all over
sometimes you hate to see them
but sometimes you decide they are perfect in their annoyance.
you seek out the reason for their being
water spots from rain, from a second rinsing

the foot prints where in the powder. they lead to the bed. it was eerie. it was a sign. maybe there is a god or spirits or something. no one can be sure. and if all we have is this god damn powder to prove it then we are all lost.

Powder is a weird thing. Think about it baby powder, baking powder, makeup powder. Just very different. But, add water to it and it is goop, clumps and gross. This is a very intelligent writing huh? That is about it. I hate when powder dries your hands up.

Powder, clean and white, traveling quickly up my nasal cavity. The drip is divine, the high is heavenly. I can’t help but remember it, even now, years later, every time I walk through fresh, powder snow.

It’s only natural to grieve when someone you’re related to passes away. So why do I feel so emotionless over the death of my own grandfather? I’m not a monster, I don’t think, but it just doesn’t seem….natural to mourn him somehow.
