Just a the tip of a pencil, the edge of a cliff. You just expect it to break, you expect it to fall off. You want it to. Sometimes, when you hold those small things in your hand, you want to break them even. And then, there's the times that you really want to protect and defend. Sometimes, like your heart. But it's often so easy to just crush something, something so very delicate in the palm of your hand.

Delicate is a very good descriptive word you can tell immediately that it goes with fragile and tenuous and all the other types anf descrof being delicate. You can have a delicate disposition be of a delicate frame of mind, you can even have a delciate stimach and eschew any strong flavours or spices. Little gorls are sometimes decribed as delicate although whoever decided that they were does not know little girls very well, my sister was ince a little girl who was perceived as delicate but actually she was the very opposite. She was a right little tough hellion.

delicate are the petals of a flower, lightly kissed by dewdrops that shimmer in the early morning sun. more delicate still are the wings of a butterfly that thoughtlessly caress these petals as it flutters by. but they're none more delicate than my heart, now shattered into a million, lifeless fragments.
