She lay in a pile of hay. Her head poked up through the straw, scattering tiny peices everywhere. Her bright blue eyes locked on mine and I smiled. She was beautiful even with hay strewn throughout her hair and the slightly rumpled clothing that she now wore. She was stunning as always.

Horses love hay which smells aromatic in the spring afer it is cut and delivered by strong men with big flatbed trucks. Hay gets all over you when you feed the horses, and people then know you are a hayseed when you go out into the world. Friends will come up on you from behind and pluck the tiny shreds of brownness off of your collar or sleeve. Then you can brag about having horses to feed and hay to lift each morning. You are a real farmgirl when that kind of experience comes along. Either that, or you look like a sloppy dresser, and people may believe you have been rolling in hay before coming to work.

I hate these kitschy little "theme" restaurants. This one's trying for a "country" feel, and has hay bales stacked in the corners and brand new plowshares with artificial rust hanging on the walls next to glossy Roy Rogers posters. If I wanted to be surrounded by all this rural bullshit, I'd go back out to the farm where I buried Billy's head.

Horses eat hay , hay is simply dried grass and is a by product of mowing. I assume it is nutritious as horses eat it. If left for a long time without tossing and aerating it, it will begin to ferment and smell. I am not sure whether sillage is fermented hay or not but as it is used as food for animals it could well be. Hay ;used to be piled into hay ricks and they in turn used to be a home for small rodents, birds etc as well as a place where lovers could hide themselves. It is possible that quite a lot of people owe their birth to a hay rick.

Hay is for horses, hay is for cows, pigs don't eat it cause they don't know how." Jeanie teased me from the edge of they playground. They were playing chinese jump rope and had made it quite clear I wasn't allowed to play. When I stood on the side of them digging the toe of my shoe into the dirt, they took the oppurtunity to pick at every thing I did as they played. Fair is fair so I picked at them and when I saw Jeanie miss the rope I called her on it. But she was working like a well oiled machine today and she machine gunned a reply back at me. I glared at her focusing all my hate. My fists tight balls of angry, pulsing at my side. I kicked dirt towards them and stormed off. I wished with every ounce of my being that she fell on her big fat face. Fell right into the dirt, in front of everyone. Fell and cut her big fat ugly nose on the pavement. Fell and messed up her face. Hot tears streamed down the side of my face as I imagined Jeanie's face in the dirt. One...

Cows eat hay in the snow covered field. The hat lays strewn behind the pick up truck and the men stand in the back with pitch forks and toss the hay off the back of the truck. The wind blows the hay and the cattle trample the hay into the dirt and snow making a muddy, hay filled mess of it all. They eat and lay down in the hay, using it to insulate themselves from the ground.

In the hay I can spend very pleasant hours with mly boyfriend. It is the classic fantasy, making love in the hay. It reminds me of hot, long summers where you have nothing else to to than wait until the barbecue heats up and eat as much as you can. Then you go for a long walk...all accross the fields, into the barn where no one can see you.

is great becaues it feeds lots of animals, like horses and pigs and stuff. what can hay do? feed a barn, which will run a farm, which will feed people with lots of food and corn and stuff. hay runs the world! hay. i love hay. you can jump off a barn roof and land in hay, and still be ok! ha.

I glanced at the hay placed carelessly by the door. Unaware of the nosy eyes watching me, I took a piece and nibbled. Tired of the days work, I plopped myself down, exhausted.

When I was a kid my cousin Monica would throw kittens through the hayloft into a soft pile of hay and the kittens woulds spin through the air with their paws out, like a furry jelly fish. hay... hay is for horses... hay makes me itch... sometimes it's like finding a needle in a haystack... haystacks are large... not as large as a bundle of hay, nor not as important to today's society... shoveling hay is a horrible chore. oh well. life goes on

I don't know why, but I would like too play with hay. Hay is what horse and cattle eat, but It's funner to put a needle in hay. Then you can invent a machine that looks for the needle because you don't want horses to swallow a needle. Just don't add a needle.

Hay is for horses, or so they say. I don't know anything else about hay. Hay is wheat or grass or oats, cut and dried and baled or bundled. Hay is also put into haystacks, for landscapes painters like Corot to paint. The mechanized farm has put an end to haystacks today. You will still see haystacks on Amish farms, because they don't use machinery. Livestock including the famous horses, eat hay in the winter when fresh grass is not plentiful. It seems like 60 seconds should be up by now.

Hay girl, eat up. Your horse-like jaw just enhances the illusion You're a complete and utter slut. So, why did you do it? Do you have any time by yourself? When you're alone, you probably just think of what you're like next to others and activate your telivision. I used to watch it, I know. It gives you this comfortable train of thought to follow all the way, but isn't that train a bit crowded? It smells like a fucking barn in there. All sweat and coughing and nonsense. Does all metal in public places for some reason have to remind us of pee? I guess it serves the purpose of Roman baths, a communal pit of bodily fluids, the "everyone shits" humbling principle. Look away from this, you will see there's a universe within yourself. It sure tastes better than fucking hay.

Hay is something that horses and cows eat. Their feed. Hay to them is like the fuel of the earth. They graze off of it and it runs their bodily functions. They're eating their source of energy. Just as we do. Duhh.

hay... i just read what people wrote about hay so this doesn't seem fair. perhaps i'm being narcissistic, but it all seemed kind of trite? i think i might have the definition of trite a little wrong... also i think maybe i drank too much scotch tonight. Either way, on the topic of hay... I think of halloween, of picking pumpkins in a field of hay. I used to daydream of future pumpkin-picking seasons when I would go with someone I loved and it would all be more magical somehow. This is never true. No matter where I am or what I'm doing, I'm always dreaming of a time or circumstance that will make it all much greater. I'm not sure what this says about me as a person...

hay how ya doin? i like to eat all things including the dinosaurs which arent really extinct really- i saw them in new mexico, but they costed me 10 dollars to see and honestly i dnt think it was really worth it. dont waste your money on the dinosaurs. theyre not as cool as you think they are and they dont really like humans and theyll probably eat you before you can even give the guy your money. so dont waste your money on the dinosaurs-m unless you want to die that sort of way... really big and inconspicuously. i mean i guess some people would like to die that way. not me though i want to go nice and simple like- real quiet. i think thats the best way-then you dont have a million newspaper stories baout you the next day and your family doesnt have to see your face all over the news and be reminded constantly- or ag least for a day- of th\e fact that they will never ever speak to or see you again. then they can move on with their lives and they wont get held back by their unfinished business with you. then...

in romantic novels you often read that hay is sun-warmed and soft. it is not. it is dried grass, itchy, scratchy and often it can make you sneeze. it is definitely not romantic. when it is baled it is also very heavy. loading and unloading hay bales is back breaking work. this is also unromantic. i am not knocking hay. isn't it time to start being honest about it though? cows and other livestock might find hay romanctic (in the same manner as a teenage romanticizing pizza) but hay is certainly not a romantic ideal for me.

Hay is yellow, and grows in fields. Wait -- does it grow in fields? Anyway, horses seem to like it - for eating. Humans like to roll around in it - for sex. Either way, Bakers can use hay for distractions when they havent met their baking deadline. Drug dealers can use it to seperate their cokes lines when theyre too high and confused to see otherwise. Questionably, would Wildabeasts enjoy eating hay - instead of grass? Whats the appeal? Seriously.
