Everything that touches my life influences my actions. After a relationship ends, I find myself constantly flinching as I use phrases and words picked up from my ex. Some of them are useful, some are just cute, but I am left with the task of sorting out which ones are too painful and must be schooled out of my vocabulary and which ones I need to just get over and get on with.

Influence is the worst part of living. With it you go places not on your own feet but carried on by the wind in your mind. It is really intoxicating - too much is bad for the liver - life finds itself a little too heady with it but the feet that covers the whole way is unsure.
