The cross is the most meaningful item in my life. Without the cross, I am utterly lost without hope for eternity. Witht he cross I am assured of eternal life after death with my heavenly Father. My desire for my students is that they will al see and understand the meaning of the cross and what they have when they put their trust in it.

I was a bit cross with him when he interrupted my contemplation of the priceless artifact that I had been seeking for so long. There had to be a way around the ancients' booby-trap. There had to be a way to acquire this treasure. I reached slowly forward toward the crucifix and suddenly a steel spike pierced my hand.

The cross is an amazing Symbol of love, dedication, and the penultimate sacrifice that the Lord Jesus Christ made for our sins. He died on the cross so that we could have everlasting and eternal life and would be with him in heven. I would love to carry his cross in my life and this would be done by obeying what he has stated in his book, the Bible. If we do follow what he says and "Carry His Cross", we would be with him in paradise.

It didn't seem so difficult from a distance, but now the river rushed at a deafening pace, unassailable, unpassable. How could he cross over at the point? he wondered, and looking up and down the bank, he wondered how he could cross anywhere without wings. Yet, he had little choice. He had no wings Behind him, the land was dying, shriveling, drying, blowing into swirls of dust in an audible, inevitable force. He had little time. It was either the river and possible salvation or the terror at his back. If he did not act quickly, he would be drifting across the land, nothing more than the sterile dirt the wind left behind. How would he survive, he wondered? He was not a swimmer, and he knew enough to understand that even the strongest swimmer might be dragged under, swept along to be crushed on the rocks in the river bed. The wind drew closer, a dry, crackling thunder. He glanced back. A bush simply dissolved in the swirling force. Trees began to topple but disappeared before they hit the ground, also turned into brown and yellow dust. The decision that had seemed, at least, moderately difficult a moment ago,...

Christianity, a false idol at times. Describing martyrdom and suffering. Whether or not Jesus was the son of God, the way he died was pretty fucking disgusting. Imagine how long it would take someone to die on a cross. We all have our own crosses to bear, the weights of which are relative to our own experiential plight through this world. It's maybe hard to sympathize with someone carrying a light burden and complaining of its crushing weight when our own may be many times heavier, but you can be sure that whatever weight they carry is as painful to them as your own is to you .... well, maybe not ... Today I was cross with everyone. I don't know why. Do you ever get those moods or is it me who is just sometimes disfunctional? Every thing just seemed to be at edges with the way i wanted things to be. I couldnt get the outfit i wanted to wear to look right. The kids where not cooperating with me getting ready for school. The phone rang interupting my train of thought and I know I forgot to bring something with me today but I cannot remmeber cause Im too cross. Still as I lay here in my bed tonight everyone asleep and all quiet, I reflect that hey I am no longer cross with the world, just greatful for all that I have and that the mood has passed and I made it through another day.

Hot cross buns. That's all she could hear in her head. The song of hot cross buns. She knew that she was going to die. He was coming any second...as he got nearer the song got louder..."Hot cross buns..." she looked up and there was the silhouette of a knife on the wall...

cross the desert into the mind, where one can escape into its depths, vastly infinite, yet confined in its isolation to a single person's thoughts and perceptions. the daily routines of our lives often create inpenetrable illusions of how we process the information all around us. it is up to clear our mind of these illusions and cross over into that which is empty, and pure, where spontaneity and creative ideas become the natural impulse.

A cross rose over my head and I fainted. I never considered myself a religous person, so I do not know why a cross would even appear before me in the first place. Was this a sign? A hallucination? Or both? God help me in Jesus name, Amen.

You could be angry here, or maybe just struggling to get to the other side. Or perhaps you've made a shape, useful for signifying a certain religion or adding numbers together. whatever.

The love of all human beings as well as the symbol of the Jesus Chirst. The cross was used at many places for ward off evil spirits and and welcome good spirited souls whoncanhelp us in many ways in facing the trials and tribulations of the day to day life. Never be cross at the cross or else the cross will be cross with you which can only bring misfortunes. Love the cross knowing it to be a symbol of all good things.Jesus who gave up everything including his life for the sake of the cross teaches one thing that constantly cross the mind that "in giving up" lies the real pleasure of life and enjoyment. Those who have understood this have understood the true meaning of Christianity. Thus crossing the cross will bring only unhappiness to ne's life. The cross is used by many people in the world, especially by the Christians who love it dearly and respects it tremendously. If you look at the cross with love the cross will look back at you. Salvation will be easy. Seek you first the kingdom of Heaven; and everything else shall be added un to you.", declared Jesus Chirst. It...

I'd spread my wings and fly away, but I feel grounded in the winds of the water. It's a cross and bible, a touch of sin. Too much too gone. I'm going to hell. And I'll see you there.

The teacher said: "write 100 words about nature." It was all to obvious that she didn't care too much about the burgeoning feeling of something new and great happening inside of me while I was writing, while I discovered for the first time the feeling of creativity. She mechanically put an ugly and menacing red cross right on the first word, which I had misspelt. That's when I decided I never wanted to be an adult. But I failed.

Carrying the load. Rather like the burden of Christ's. The thorns in the scalp, the cross on the back. It's so difficult to walk, to move, to endure. I do, and I will continue to. It is who I am. It is what I do.

i was not cross the day that I hit my thumb with a hammer. I do not always like hot cross buns either. The cross becvame a symbol of Christianity because of a vision that was supposedly withnessed by thousands in the second century AD. Personally I try not to think about it.

Cross, coming from the italian prefix, cr, meaning 'to eat' and the italian word 'oss' literally meaning 'small unborn child'. Thus is one of the most disgusting rituals of Italians known to un-Italians.

At the crossroads he shook his head and grinned. "This is everything," he said. "This is the meaning, the symbol, this is life at its simplest - choose." He looked up each way. He looked at where he'd come from. He nodded. He stepped forward, between the paths, and kept going, with no footprints to get in his way.
