We've entered a slippery area here, she said as she reached out for his hand. I know, he replied. We really shouldn't be talking like this. There are too many people that could get hurt. Well, that too, she frowned, but I was talking about that patch of ice by your left foot. AAAAAAAAaaaaaah! he said as he tumbled head over heels down the treacherous slope.

the area above your head is not what you think it is. it is a massive apce were monkeys like to fly down and poo on it. Sure it does not make scence to you now, but just wait, for one day you will be at home, feeling all safe a secure, and then that happends.

There was so much drama in this area, Miguel chose not to stick around longer than he had to. After all, between the six Venutians who'd eaten the old lady's poodle and the Centauri who'd set fire to Richard's BMW, it seem like interspecies relations were going to be tense for a while. Miguel started up the chainsaw and walked towards the gathering crowd. No longer than he had to.

The area code... he had to leave. 314 just wasn't doing it for him anymore. 618? 636? 212? He didn't know. He just knew that this wasn't where he needed to be. He sat and thought, looking at the area around his apartment. This neighborhood had gone to shit, and he had only moved in five years ago. It depressed him just to think about it. He had to go.

The area around the center regressed rather rapidly from posh townhouses to seedy project housing, in a span of maybe 3 blocks. Chris used to brag about how he lived in one of the safest areas in the city, but he refused to take a five minute walk down to the gas station in order to buy a pack of cigarettes, for fear of being mugged there.

There's a long, long, large space, a wide space, an open space - it's the darkest country on this side of t he equator, and no matter how many rabbits die for it, it's the Zone, it's the Space, it's the Area, man, it's where they go. It's all there is, this long long large space, this wide space, this open space. It's haunted, they say - like area 51, but it's 51 times one thousand and ten, so it's area - some huge number, they insist, because math has never been their strong point, and it's too scary to try.

The area behind our house is for the dogs. The big one actually, the Great Dane. Before I got her I worked very hard to make it beautiful with flowers and grass. This spring, as she raced about, tearing up huge chunks of sod, I believed it would never be so again. But, dogs can be suprising creatures, and spring has it's own healing touch. The grass grows thick again, and Raven weeds with me, only occasionally pulling up the wrong kind of plant. Looking out my window, one would never know, the area is for the dogs.
