I feel like I get to clean up after everyone's little messes. I feel like I'm the one who has to fix things... make them better. Apply a bandaide and make everything beareable again. But sometimes I just can't do it... I want to put a bandaid on for myself but I just can't I just can't face this shit anymore. I'm sorry if I can't fix it for you but I'll be there for you while the wound is still open... while it's getting better and after it's done... THat's all I can promise you.

One of the problems I had with working at the store was how my manager would leave big messes for me to clean in the morning--when her procedures clearly told the night-clerk to clean up before they left. I'm glad I'm not working there anymore.

i dont really like mops. see i have to mop all the time at work, and it can be rather painful. not that bad, i mean its not as bad as doing the dishes or anything...but its kind of annoying. the only thing i like about the mop and mopping is that is kind of mind numbing, and you always feel very accomplished when youve finished mopping the floor. our mops do get rather dirty though, i would hate to change them.

I fell over the mop. It was a dirty mop, but that didn't matter. Well, it mattered because it meant that the floor was dirty and smelt funky. However, I just didn't think about all of that as I was falling to the ground.

There's a mop behind the door. I can see it from my bed, when I'm lying awake at night; the pale mophead looks ghastly and I can fill in a gaunt and evil body beneath it without intending to. I never move the mop when I'm awake, though. It's never an issue in the daytime.

she tirelessly swipped the mop accross the room, stopping and going over a spot that was not gleaming. she never thought when she cleaned and that was what she loved so much about it. except for when the never ending stream of worry cascading over the sweet calm of cleaning. Sweeping the sweat off her brow with the back of her hand, she felt her knuckle drag against her forehead. With a carpet you can never know for sure if you've soaked up, cleaned up and done away with whatever splashed it's way in the threads on a given day. Since I'm more or less down with germs, I don't get crazy with potions and disinfectants. In fact, I'd prefer no carpet at all. There's no disguising what has been left behind on a slab of linoleum or hardwood.
