  7. The amount of stuff which passes by undetected, because everyone is so caught up in their own worlds. It’s nice to know my problems are shared by many, and they still go about their lives (seemingly) just fine.

  13. The shadow slipped through the smallest of crevices and almost travelled without being detected, if only nobody sensed and knew of his terror. Where the hell is she?, he commonly thought and tried to scream before remembering his lack-of-face bore no mouth. He lost her constantly and was starting to become very desperate, so much so that his consumption rate of others had increased almost threefold. His coldness made him numb to the trail of warmth she always left behind her, and it seemed to cool and vanish before he could uncover it and track her down.

  15. errors.deadly. check, recheck. everything needs to be perfect. in an experiment, there’s no ctrl-Z to undo a mistake. you can always ‘redo’ but by then, you’ve already wasted much time.

  16. Do not try to find me
    Beneath the trees’ shadows,
    hidden from your screaming wind,
    i am covered by angels
protected from your cold and sin.

Do not try to find me
In these days warm and sunny
    I am below the earth
the dirt and bedrock protects me
from your laughter and mocking mirth

Do not try to find me
    here or anywhere,
    any day or night,
this world is who renounced me
I am hiding from your spite

Do not try to find me,
    as if you even care
I know the truth and I know you
    you only pretend,
    and that’s unfair.

    it goes undetected.

  23. where’s the pride in being another unwelcome stranger? don’t take off your shoes. don’t look at me like that. i click my pen twice. i straighten the zip on my jeans to hide under the material. where’s the pride? where’s the good? i click the pen twice more. even. tidy. smooth. undetected.
